About Us

Digital Legion was founded within the MMOFPS game known as Planetside. Back then we played under the name of “The 58th Marine Corp (The Wildcards)”, as a New Conglomerate Outfit on the Werner server (later shortened to the58th.com). As an Outfit we had fantastic success having one of the most organised teams in the game and we helped establish and maintain an NC Werner alliance. The fight continued in Planetside for many years and beyond. Throughout our history we have played many games together ranging from: Counter Strike (1.6 and Source), Battlefield (2 and 2142), Unreal Tournament, Dawn of War, World of Warcraft, and the list could go on.

As a clan we were highly successful in World of Warcraft, where we raided under the name of “Solar Noctis” on the Daggerspine/Kazzak EU server/s. Before the first expansion, “The Burning Crusade” was released we had successfully completed both Molten Core and Blackwing Lair and were making our way through Ahn'Qiraj.

We are currently in anticipation of some AAA titles for the PC such as Section 8, Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield Bad Company 2. There is also some excitement for the up and coming MMOs such as Aion and Star Wars: The Old Republic. If however you're more concerned with what we're playing now then we have a selection for you too, which includes the following: Left 4 Dead, Battlefield 2, Dawn of War 2, Demigod, Warhammer Online and even some Bloodbowl.

Despite our craving for competition we remain a casual, friendly community of gamers. We are a very diverse community with members from all over the world and many walks of life but our origins are firmly rooted in the UK and as such we prefer written and spoken English as our forms of communication.
